The Question
#1 · DC Comics · February 1987
Vic Sage broadcasts evidence of a blackmail scandal involving a prominent Hub City official, placing the Question directly in the path of Reverend Jeremiah Hatch and the city’s corrupt political machinery.
Although Vic recognizes an informant’s tip as an obvious setup, he follows it anyway. Lady Shiva and Hatch’s men are waiting, and their brutal attack leaves the Question sinking into the river as the opening chapter ends on a severe cliffhanger.
