Vault Notes & Reader Notes
ROM #1 features the first comic-book appearances of Rom, Brandy Clark and the Dire Wraiths. Bill Mantlo and Jim Shooter write the premiere issue, with Mantlo continuing as writer on #2. Sal Buscema pencils and inks both stories. Frank Miller pencils the #1 cover with Joe Rubinstein inks, while Al Milgrom provides the #2 cover.
