Tazri, Stalwart Survivor

Legendary Creature — Human Warrior from March of the Machine: The Aftermath.

Quantity: 1 card • Showcase • Regular finish • MAT #056

Lets eligible creatures tap for restricted mana to activate creature abilities, and can mill five cards to put creatures with non-mana activated abilities from those cards into your hand.

Supports Ramp strategies focused on creature abilities while helping replenish your hand with more creatures that fit the strategy.

Card Highlights

• Casting cost: two generic and one white mana
• Power and toughness: 3/3
• A creature needs another activated ability to use the granted mana ability
• Generated mana must match one of that creature’s colors and can only activate a creature’s ability
• One mana of each color and tapping Tazri activates its mill-and-recover ability
• Rare Showcase printing illustrated by Dominik Mayer

Vault Notes & Play Impact

Build around creatures with activated abilities so they can contribute mana toward one another’s activations. The granted mana cannot pay for casting spells, and a colorless creature cannot produce mana through this ability. Tazri only puts qualifying creatures from the five newly milled cards into your hand; it does not retrieve other cards already in your graveyard.
