Stitcher’s Graft MTG Innistrad Remastered INR 271 Voltron Equipment

Stitcher’s Graft

Artifact — Equipment from Innistrad Remastered.

Quantity: 1 card • Regular finish • INR #271

Gives the equipped creature +3/+3, but attacking makes it skip its next normal untap, and detaching the Equipment causes the permanent it was attached to to be sacrificed.

Supports Voltron strategies with a substantial stat boost at a low mana cost, balanced by attack and attachment drawbacks.

Card Highlights

• Casting cost: one generic mana
• Equip cost: two generic mana
• Grants +3/+3 while attached
• An attacking equipped creature does not untap during its controller’s next untap step
• Becoming unattached triggers the sacrifice of the previously equipped permanent
• Rare standard-frame printing illustrated by Josh Hass

Vault Notes & Play Impact

Vigilance pairs well with the Equipment because attacking normally will not tap that creature. Separate untap effects can also ready an attacker despite the restriction on its next untap step. Moving Stitcher’s Graft to another creature triggers the sacrifice of its former bearer, so choose attachments carefully.
