Saheeli, Radiant Creator MTG Aetherdrift Commander Borderless Creature Tokens

Saheeli, Radiant Creator

Legendary Creature — Human Artificer from Aetherdrift Commander.

Quantity: 1 card • Borderless • Regular finish • DRC #003

Whenever you cast an Artificer or artifact spell, you get an energy counter. At the beginning of combat on your turn, you may pay three energy to create a token copy of target permanent you control, except it is a 5/5 artifact creature in addition to its other types and has haste. Sacrifice that token at the beginning of the next end step.

Supports Creature Tokens strategies by turning your permanents into temporary attackers while rewarding artifact and Artificer spells.

Vault Notes & Play Impact

Copying a permanent with an enters-the-battlefield ability can provide value before the token attacks or is sacrificed. An artifact spell that is also an Artificer generates only one energy from Saheeli’s ability. Copies retain the legendary supertype, so copying a legendary permanent you control normally requires putting one of the matching legendary permanents into the graveyard.
